Sang Ho Kang
Vice President and General Manager of Semiconductor Technologies, DuPont
Sang-Ho Kang is Vice President and General Manager of the Semiconductor Technologies business group in DuPont Electronics & Industrial. Semiconductor Technologies is a leader in materials for the integrated circuit (IC) fabrication market, with a deep customer focus, advanced technologies and global reach. In this role, Kang is responsible for leading business strategy across a broad portfolio of advanced technologies including photoresists, anti-reflectants, removers and cleaners, pad and slurry technologies for planarizing and polishing, semiconductors and silicon wafers, and metallization and polymer materials for advanced semiconductor packaging.
Prior to his current role, Kang was Global Business Director for Display Technologies in DuPont Electronics & Industrial, where he managed a portfolio of key enabling materials solutions for advanced display products such as OLED emitter materials, cadmium-free quantum dot materials and display materials for LCD, OLED and touch panels.
Kang joined DuPont Electronics & Industrial (then Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials) in 1998 and initially held various positions in sales and marketing in the Semiconductor Technologies business. In 2007, he moved to the U.S. to assume the role of Strategic Account Manager for accounts in North America. He returned to Korea to take on a Sales Director role in Display Technologies in 2009, and was later named Marketing Director for the Display Technologies business.
In 2013, Kang moved to Vietnam and was appointed Vietnam Country President and Platform Development Director for Photovoltaic Films (PV), Performance Plastics. In 2016, he was named Global Business Director for Display Technologies in Dow Electronic Materials and relocated back to Korea. He continued to lead this business as part of DuPont Electronics & Industrial following the DowDuPont merger and subsequent spin. From 2018-2019, he also held dual responsibility as DuPont Korea Country President.
In 2019, Kang was named General Manager for Semiconductor Technologies and Vice President of DuPont Electronics & Industrial. He is currently based in Singapore, where the Electronics & Industrial business has a regional headquarters.
Kang earned a B.S. in inorganic material engineering from Hanyang University and a M.B.A. from KAIST. He is a member of the Board of Directors for NITTA DuPont Incorporated, a joint venture in Japan.
